Hi! We are so happy you’re here. We are a big family living on a little farm where we grow a variety of beautiful flowers and a small patch of vegetables each year. We raise a lot of chickens, a couple of geese, a gaggle of turkeys, a smattering of miniature donkeys, and a few hives of honey bees. Of course no farm would be complete without a few awesome dogs. Our oldest pup, Thistle, is the inspiration for our logo and she hasn’t let the fame go to her head (at least not yet!).

Thank you for supporting our small business and for supporting local agriculture in your community!

FAQs

  • CSA stands for community supported agriculture. Technically, it is a partnership between farmers and consumers. Customers purchase a share of the farms product (flowers!) in advance and then receive the goods on the scheduled dates.

  • Our CSA members will have several perks!

    1) The product- your flowers will be harvested within 24 hours of delivery/pick up meaning you will be able to enjoy them for much longer!

    2) You know what you’re getting! Our flowers are sustainably raised, free of chemicals or pesticides.

    3) Our CSA members get first access to our honey sales! We have an apiary on our farm and the honey sells out every year.

    4) You get the opportunity to visit our farm! You can see your flowers growing in our fields when you pick up your weekly order. We also have chickens, geese, ducks and miniature donkeys!

    5) CSA members will get emails about the fresh produce available for purchase that we may have available each week. These can be purchased and then picked up with your weekly flowers.

    6) Our members will get one free hour of photography time in our flower field per season* (must be scheduled with the farmers first!) Feel free to hire a photographer or chase the kiddos around with your iPhone. Sorry, there are no dogs allowed on the farm.

Of course there are many other benefits to joining a CSA. These benefits include: buying locally and seasonally are better for the environment for a variety of reasons, supporting farmers is vital to our food system, and YOU get a superior product.

  • Mother Nature is our CEO & office manager and we must work with whatever she throws at us. If a particular crop is destroyed due to circumstances out of our hands, we will do our best to replace the crop with something of equal or greater value. Our mission is to always put the customer first.

  • First of all, thank you for supporting our small family farm. Once a CSA is purchased, it is no longer refundable. We would highly recommend you gift your CSA to someone else. We will be happy to transfer your share to their name.

  • Absolutely! A CSA works very much like a flower bouquet subscription, only we are the farmer AND the florist. If you would like to gift a CSA please put in the recipient’s info at check out and leave us a note! We will send you a printable certificate to within 48 hours of purchase and they will not be notified until we send out member emails.

  • Treat your flowers like a container of ice cream! Do not leave them in your hot car!

Take your bouquet inside to cool air, trim a little off the stem at an angle, place in a vessel of clean water with flower food (attached to your bouquet). Change water every other day to keep flowers fresh. All flowers have different vase lives, when one stem begins to fade simply remove that flower and compost (or throw away) and enjoy your remaining flowers.

  • We understand that schedules get busy and life happens. If you need to pick up your bouquet on a different day, we will try our best to work with you but we do not guarantee we can make any changes. Simply send us a message and we will see what we can do. Please do your best to stick with out pick up date/time. We cannot hold flowers beyond the pickup window.
